Sunisa Prasobchok

Bangkok · March 28, 2026

Financial Literacy Starter

"I've always felt slightly embarrassed not knowing what certain financial terms meant — even after decades of managing household finances. This program explained everything without making me feel behind. The pace was exactly right. I left feeling like I could have an informed conversation with my bank for the first time."

Insurance Review and Education

"I came in assuming my coverage was probably fine — I had policies going back twenty years. After the gap analysis session, I realised I had some areas that were genuinely under-covered. Khun Nattaya walked through it carefully and without any pressure. Very professional. I appreciated that nobody was trying to sell me anything."

Multi-Asset Portfolio Education

"The simulation sessions were the most useful part for me. Seeing how different portfolio compositions behaved over five years of Thai market data made the concepts much more real than any book could have. I was apprehensive before starting — I have no background in investing — but the explanations built up gradually and I never felt lost."

Financial Literacy Starter

"My daughter actually suggested I attend. I'm 54 and I thought financial education was really for younger people who had more time to act on things. But the sessions showed me there are useful decisions I can still make right now — even with a shorter timeline than someone in their thirties. The small group size made it easy to ask questions freely."

Insurance Review and Education

"Honest and clear — two things I don't always associate with anything related to insurance. The educator explained what different policy types actually cover, and which common misunderstandings tend to cost people later. I came away with a much clearer picture of where I stand and what I might want to address."

Multi-Asset Portfolio Education

"I enrolled mostly because I wanted to understand what my husband and I have in our investment accounts — I've always left the decisions to him. After five sessions I feel like I can genuinely participate in those conversations. The program doesn't push you toward any particular approach, which I found reassuring."

Participant Stories

A closer look at three participant journeys through our programs

AM

Aranya M., 58 — Financial Literacy Starter

Completed February 2026

The starting point

Aranya had managed household finances for thirty years but had never felt fully comfortable reading financial statements or understanding the products her bank offered. Important decisions had always felt slightly out of reach.

What the program offered

The Starter program introduced financial vocabulary in a structured order, using examples drawn from Thai savings accounts, fixed deposits, and common fund types. Each concept was explained plainly, and every session allowed time for questions.

After completing the program

Aranya reported being able to read her bank statements clearly and feeling confident enough to ask informed questions at her next bank meeting. She subsequently enrolled in the Insurance Review program.

"I now actually look forward to reviewing our accounts each month. That shift feels small from the outside but it changed something important for me."

ST

Somsak T., 61 — Insurance Review and Education

Completed March 2026

The starting point

Somsak held four insurance policies purchased at different times from different providers. He had never compared them or reviewed whether they were still appropriate for his current situation. The paperwork had remained mostly unread.

What the program offered

Three structured sessions covered how each insurance type works, what to look for in policy documents, and how to approach a personal coverage gap analysis. Somsak completed the analysis worksheet during the final session.

After completing the program

Somsak identified a gap in critical illness coverage and felt equipped to have a well-informed conversation with his insurer about adjusting his policies. He made that appointment within two weeks of completing the program.

"For the first time in years, I actually understand what I'm paying for. That's worth more than the program fee to me."

PW

Pornpan W., 49 — Multi-Asset Portfolio Education

Completed March 2026

The starting point

Pornpan had some savings in a mutual fund recommended by her bank, but had no clear understanding of how it worked or whether it made sense alongside her other savings. She felt she was making decisions she didn't fully understand.

What the program offered

Five sessions built from asset class basics through to correlation, rebalancing, and hands-on simulation exercises using historical Thai SET data. The program moved gradually and revisited concepts as they arose in the simulations.

After completing the program

Pornpan reported feeling genuinely comfortable reviewing her fund's factsheet and understanding what its allocation meant. She described being able to discuss her investments with her financial advisor as an informed participant rather than a passive one.

"I didn't know what I didn't know. Now I do, and it's made me feel so much more in control of my own financial situation."
